Meet Personal Care Worker, Mohit, who loves the family atmosphere at Charingfield
Mohit and his wife, Jamuna, are both part of the Charingfield team. He treasures the time he has with the residents and loves talking to them and hearing their stories.
What do you love most about working at Charingfield?
It feels like home. The small-house model here is unique and it means I’m able to get to know the residents really well on a personal level while I’m providing quality care. With just 11 or 12 residents sharing each household, it’s much more familiar and friendly. That’s so rewarding for me because I can focus on making them happy. And when they smile or laugh, it makes me feel so good! Plus, our team is so close and supportive of each other – very much like a family.
What would you say to someone considering a career at Charingfield?
It’s a fantastic community. I love my job so much that I recommended Charingfield to my wife and friends. My wife has been here for four years now and has been supported and encouraged by Charingfield to study further and become a Registered Nurse.
